  About Hotel New Otani

  Hotel New Otani was established in preparation for the 1964 Tokyo Olympics. It was born as the largest skyscraper in Asia and Japan's first skyscraper. It has been selected as the main venue for the past three Tokyo Summits, and has welcomed VIPs from around the world for over 50 years. Three hotels with different concepts: "Executive House Zen", "The Main", and "Garden Tower", 37 unique restaurants, 33 banquet halls, a Japanese garden with over 400 years of history, and one of the largest hotels in Tokyo. There is an outdoor pool, over 50 shopping arcades selling everything from fashion to art, a beauty salon and sports club, and even a clinic and pharmacy for your peace of mind in case of emergencies.

  Japanese garden

  The 40,000-square-meter Japanese garden in the hotel boasts a history of more than 400 years as the garden of Kiyomasa Kato's Shimoyashiki, Ii's Nakayashiki, and Fushimi-no-miya's. This vast Japanese garden, where you can get away from the hustle and bustle of the city and immerse yourself in the Japanese atmosphere to your heart's content, is one of the most famous gardens in Tokyo. The 6-meter Otaki, Kiyoizumi Pond where about 350 carps swim, and the flowers and trees that bloom in each season provide tranquility and peace in the center of Tokyo. From 2014, the Japanese garden has been lit up to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the hotel's opening. The lighting design is supervised by Mikiko Ishii, one of Japan's leading lighting designers who worked on Tokyo Tower, Rainbow Bridge, and Kabuki-za. With elegant lighting, the Japanese garden with a history of 400 years is produced with "hospitality of light" every season.

  About children sleeping on the same bed

  Children up to elementary school age (12 years old) can stay free of charge in a room with the same number of children as adults.　 Please note that meals and accommodation plan benefits are not included for children staying in the same bed. *Children over the age of 13 will be charged an adult rate, and meals and bedding will be provided under the same conditions as for adults.
